Becoming a center of excellence in Southeast Asia in the field of health administration and policy.
The Center for Health Administration and Policy Studies (CHAMPS), established in 2006 under the Faculty of Public Health, Universitas Indonesia, has emerged as a leading entity in advancing health administration and policy development in Indonesia. Over its 18 years of operation, CHAMPS has demonstrated excellence in research, training, and community service. It has collaborated with key stakeholders, including the Ministry of Health, local health departments, international organisations, and private institutions, to design and implement impactful health programs.
With a vision to be a center of excellence in Southeast Asia, CHAMPS continues to empower professionals, foster partnerships, and drive impactful health initiatives, striving for equitable and sustainable health improvements across the region.
CHAMPS boasts a diverse portfolio, including health policy analysis, program evaluations, strategic plannings, and innovative training programs on global health leadership, advocacy, regulatory impact analysis, healthcare management and so on. Its contributions include conducting groundbreaking studies, developing policy recommendations, and hosting international conferences, to address critical health challenges such as universal health coverage, health governance, and tuberculosis.
Our work encompasses:
- Comprehensive Research: Conducting in-depth studies and analyses on various aspects of health administration and policy, contributing to evidence-based recommendations that shape national and regional health strategies.
- Capacity Building: Offering specialized training programs and workshops for healthcare professionals and policymakers, equipping them with the knowledge and skills necessary to enhance the effectiveness of health systems and services.
- Strategic Consultation: Providing tailored advisory services to support governmental bodies, healthcare institutions, and private sector organizations in strategic planning, health system development, and advocacy for sustainable health development.
- Knowledge Dissemination: Actively sharing our findings and insights through publications, conferences, and public engagement, ensuring that valuable information reaches those who can utilize it for positive change.
